Aces & Faces™this fun, straightforward game from Playtech is quite enjoyable and can also serve as a great lead-in to video poker for gamers who are just getting their feet wet in the online gaming world.
About Aces & Faces™
Aces and Faces is structured similarly to Jacks or Better and Tens or Better. The key difference in this game is that you are allowed to make hands that normally are not recognized in traditional poker.
A lot of the more straightforward games out there toe the fine line between being fun and being downright unentertaining. Thankfully, Aces and Faces falls in the former category. Aside from the solid interface of the game, the possibility of making more winning hands than usual always makes it possible to salvage a decent hand, no matter how unpromising your initial hand might look.
If you have had any exposure to poker whatsoever, Aces and Faces will be very easy to pick up. The goal of aces and faces is to make the best poker hand possible. Start this fun game off by setting your bet denomination and deciding how many credits you are going to play. You can adjust these two variables to bet anywhere from $.01 to $25. Click on deal and let the game begin!
You are initially dealt a five card hand. You are then faced with the option of deciding which of these five cards you would like to keep. Now, take a close look at the pay table before making your decision because this isn’t the poker you’re used to! There are other possible hands you can make – most of those include hands full of (you guessed it) aces and face cards – so give the table a good look before making the call! Payouts are awarded in line with the pay table at the top of the screen.
At the end of the game, you have the option of trying to double your winnings of half your winnings. Pick a card of the cards that are face down that is larger than the card that is face up to double some or all of your earnings.
